Attentions in steel pipe heat treatment

Steel pipe heat treatment is an important process in the course of steel pipe production.But do you know what should be care in steel pipe heat treatment? 

Steel pipe heat treatment should pay attention to:

1. box type or step furnace user should pay attention to: overheating, burning, uneven temperature, uneven hardness, heat treatment deformation;

2.Intermediate frequency tempering and quenching should pay attention to:

1) The roller and induction coil should be installed well.Otherwise, steel pipe will have bending phenomenon when heating before quenching. So roller need  frequent  alignment.

2) The muddy water used for quenching must be completely precipitation, filtration, removal of iron oxide and water debris so as not to plug the nozzle on the quenching spray ring.

3) The design of the nozzle on the spray nozzle must be guaranteed in any section; the outlet of the nozzle is uniform, and the pressure is uniform.

4) Steel pipe must bumper to bumper before sending into hardening and tempering furnace to avoid the “end effect”. So it will not  affect the performance indexes of the steel tube heat treatment.
